Impossible question :). Too many to choose from ! I love the elegance of the Layla Star and how it drapes across your body in all the right places. Truly feel like a movie star in this piece. The Butterfly Maxi is another favorite piece - gorgeous fabric and so easy to wear. The new corset and cargo pants are fabulous and fit like a glove - my favorite new pieces. Nika Maxi dress is another beautiful piece that is both elegant and comfortable - a perfect dress for travel. And of course I love my wide variety of slip dresses that I can pair with both the cotton shirts and leather jackets - right now my favorites are the Here it Comes slip dress paired with my Casino jacket.

What’s your fashion style?
I would say my style has always leaned more towards classic elegant pieces with a bit of an edge. I much prefer styles and brands that suit me as opposed to chasing the latest trends. I believe fashion should make women look and feel beautiful in their own skin, and should be an extension of your personality.

You’ve won the National Championship Powerlifting title of the 52K Open class five times for Canadian, you’re the 2021 World Champion and 2019 Bench World Champion. Tell us about how and why you became interested in lifting competitively.
I was a competitive gymnast as a child and I’ve always loved going to the gym. I happened upon the sport of powerlifting by accident when I joined a new local gym while on maternity leave with my second son. I’m strong for my size and fell in love with the sport very quickly. I was soon introduced to an amazing local and international community of athletes. It’s also given me the opportunity to travel extensively representing Team Canada on the world stage.
What are you reading?
I’ve been binge reading anything by Isabelle Allende lately. Currently I’m reading her novel ‘Rippers’.

I’ve recently gotten back into listening to vinyl. It’s been fun trying to find old records of all my favorites. I’ve quite an eclectic taste in music, but 80’s and 90’s rock will always be my go to.

Memories of your favourite event / dinner party and why?
My cousins wedding at the Mission Bowling Club in San Francisco comes to mind. A gorgeous and creative event at a retro style bowling alley with a prohibition feel Bar. Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. And who wouldn’t enjoy bowling in a gold sequin dress!! Second to this would be the Grand Opening party for Jimmy Choo on Rodeo drive in the mid 2000’s, my good friend and I were on a girls trip to LA and scored a coveted invite !
Any secret talents?
