Gail Elliott’s Guide To London 🇬🇧

Gail Elliott’s Guide To London 🇬🇧
On a recent trip to London, the city in which I was born and raised, I had the opportunity to visit all my favourite places and discover even more. This cool, one-of-a-kind city has so much to offer whether you’re looking for the latest must-book restaurants, hotels, art galleries or bars for after dinner drinks.

Places To Stay
THE LONDON EDITION

This buzzy outpost of the EDITION Hotels is a boutique hotel offering a luxury hotel experience located in Fitzrovia, on the edge of Soho.

Don’t miss its incredible restaurant.

What To See
HAMILTON'S GALLERY

Hamilton’s Gallery is on Carlos Place in Mayfair and London’s leading photography gallery specialising in the sale of photographs from the mid-twentieth century onward. They have the most extensive collection of black & white, and colour prints. On this whirlwind trip my girlfriend Yasmin Le Bon and I popped in to see our longtime friend and owner Tim Jefferies after having lunch at one of my favourite restaurants in the area.

Where To Eat
SCOTTS MAYFAIR

Scott’s is amongst the five oldest restaurants in London and originally opened in 1851. It’s in the centre of Mayfair surrounded by shops and galleries and is the perfect place for a long lunch as it has an irresistible menu.

Where To Go After Dinner
THE TWENTY TWO

The Twenty Two is actually a boutique hotel, restaurant and private members club on Grosvenor Square but also the perfect place to hang out and chill after dinner.

HOME SWEET HOME

I love to travel and since I was 17 years of age have lived in Tokyo, New York, Sydney and now Bali. Travelling is exciting and always an adventure, it’s wonderful to experience new places and meet new people but the best part of travelling is coming home.
